Beginning September 5, 2023, new On-Street Meter rates will take effect as follows:

| Quarter | 30 minutes | 20 minutes |
| Dime | 12 minutes | 8 minutes |
| Nickel | 6 minutes | 4 minutes |
The Williamsport Parking Authority has not increased on-street meter rates in over 15 years. Since that time, new technologies have been implemented such as installing smart meters and card payment capabilities. This increase will help improve turnover at street meters offering more opportunity for convenient parking for patrons of downtown businesses and restaurants.
